Independent Furniture Reports
With over 20 years of experience designing, upholstering, and restoring all types of soft furnishings, we offer a professional independent furniture assessment and report service for customers involved in disputes with manufacturers, retailers, or insurance providers. Drawing on a deep understanding of furniture construction and materials, we can accurately identify faults, assess workmanship, and determine whether an issue stems from manufacturing, design, or wear and tear.
Each report is detailed, unbiased, and written in plain language to help you understand the problem and strengthen your case. We cover Peterborough and surrounding areas but can travel further if required. (Contact us if you’re further afield for costs). In many cases, this cost is reimbursed if your claim is successful with the manufacturer, retailer, or insurer.
Our assessments typically involve visiting your home or premises, examining the furniture in person, and—where necessary—partially dismantling items to fully inspect their internal structure. You’ll receive a clear, professional report outlining the findings, supported by photos and repair recommendations if applicable.
